Sukta 4
विलिप्ती या बृहस्पतेऽथो सूतवशा वशा। तस्या नाश्नीयादब्राह्मणो य आशंसेत भूत्याम्
viliptī́ yā́ bṛ́haspate 'thó sūtávaśā vaśā́ | tásyā ná āśnīyā́d ábrāhmaṇo yá āśáṃseta bhū́tyām ||
The Viliptī, which is thine, O Bṛhaspati, and also the Vashā called Sūtavaśā—of her let not the non-Brahman eat, who would hope for prosperity.
हे बृहस्पते! जो ‘विलिप्ती’ तेरी है, और जो ‘सूतवशा’ नामक ‘वशा’ भी है—उसका सेवन वह अब्राह्मण न करे, जो समृद्धि (भूति) की आशा रखता हो।
