Sukta 3

समग्नयो विदुरन्यो अन्यं य ओषधीः सचते यश्च सिन्धून्। यावन्तो देवा दिव्या३तपन्ति हिरण्यं ज्योतिः पचतो बभूव

sám agnáyo vidur anyó anyáṃ yá oṣádhīḥ sácate yáś ca síndhūn | yā́vanto devā́ divyā́s tápanti híraṇyaṃ jyótiḥ pácato babhūva ||

In concord the fires know one another—he that is joined with plants, and he that with the rivers. As many as are the heavenly Gods that glow with heat: from the two that ‘cook’ there hath arisen light, yea, golden radiance.

अग्नियाँ समभाव से एक-दूसरे को जानती हैं—जो ओषधियों से संयुक्त है और जो सिन्धुओं (नदियों) से। जितने दिव्य देव हैं जो तप से दीप्त होते हैं—‘पचाने’ वाले उन दोनों से ज्योति, हाँ, स्वर्णमय प्रकाश उत्पन्न हुआ।
