imé mayū́khā úpa tastabhur dívaṃ sā́māni cakrus tásarāṇi vā́tave

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

These beams have propped the heaven up; they fashioned Sāman-harmonies—shuttles for the Wind.

ये मयूख (किरण/शलाका) स्वर्ग को सहारा देकर थामे हुए हैं; उन्होंने साम-रागों को रचा—वायु के लिए तसर (नाव/शटल) बनाए।
