Sukta 10
ऊर्ध्वो बिन्दुरुदचरद् ब्रह्मणः ककुदादधि । ततस्त्वं जज्ञिषे वशे ततो होताजायत
ūrdhvó bindúr úd acarat bráhmaṇaḥ kákudād ádhi | tátas tváṃ jajñiṣe vaśe tátó hótā ajāyata ||
Upward the seed-drop moved forth from upon the summit of brahman. Thence wast thou born, O Vasā; thence thereafter the Hotṛ was born.
ब्रह्मन् के शिखर के ऊपर से ऊर्ध्व की ओर बीज-बिन्दु चल पड़ा। वहीं से, हे वशा (Vasā), तू उत्पन्न हुई; और उसी के बाद वहाँ से होता (Hotṛ) भी उत्पन्न हुआ।
