Adhyāya 379 — अद्वैतब्रह्मविज्ञानम्

Advaita-brahma-vijñāna

इसे ही एकमात्र सत्य जानो: समस्त जगत् में कोई भेद नहीं है। यह ‘वासुदेव’ नाम से अभिहित परमात्मा का ही स्वरूप है।

FAQs

It imparts Vedāntic tattva-vidyā: a non-dual understanding that the cosmos is not ultimately separate, and that the Supreme Self is known by the name ‘Vāsudeva’—a contemplative basis for jñāna and mokṣa rather than a procedural ritual.

Alongside ritual, polity, medicine, and arts, the Agni Purana also preserves concise metaphysical summaries; this verse exemplifies its Vedānta layer by defining ultimate reality (Paramātman) and framing a unitive worldview under the theological name ‘Vāsudeva’.

Internalizing non-difference (abheda) reduces attachment and aversion rooted in perceived separation, supporting purification of mind and liberation-oriented insight (jñāna) centered on the Supreme as Vāsudeva.
