Related Themes: Agni Purana 347 (Durgā-mantra, śakti-parivāra, pūjā-vidhi sequences)
It gives a specific Durga-mantra formula (Hrīṃ…Svāhā) to be used for mantra-siddhi, and prescribes associated worship of Gaurī and designated groups of attendant Śaktis.
It exemplifies the Agni Purana’s manual-like coverage of practical ritual technology—seed syllables, mantra sealing with Svāhā, and structured attendant-deity worship—alongside its many other domains (law, polity, medicine, arts).
The verse frames Devi worship as a means to secure protection and accomplish the intended fruit of a mantra; properly performed, it is presented as spiritually efficacious and merit-generating through disciplined devotion and ritual correctness.
