Related Themes: Agni Purana 235 (Pūjā-vidhi: yātrā, abhiṣeka, nīrājana context)
It prescribes a timed festival sequence: perform vijaya-snāna (auspicious victory bath) on day six with an abhiṣeka-style anointing, and on day seven (yātrā day) perform worship of Trivikrama (Viṣṇu).
It adds practical temple-festival logistics—day-by-day observance, purification bathing, abhiṣeka protocol, and deity-specific worship—showing the text’s coverage of applied ritual administration alongside theology.
The victory-bath and abhiṣeka function as purification and auspicious reinforcement of success, while worship of Trivikrama on the yātrā day aligns the festival’s merit with Viṣṇu’s protective and world-striding sovereignty.
