इत्य् आग्नेये महापुराणे राजाभिषेको नाम अष्टादशाधिकद्विशततमो ऽध्यायः अथोनविंशाधिकद्विशततमो ऽध्यायः अभिषेकमन्त्राः पुष्कर उवाच राजदेवाद्यभिषेकमन्त्रान्वक्ष्ये ऽघमर्दनान् कुम्भात् कुशोदकैः सिञ्चेत्तेन सर्वं हि सिद्ध्यति

ity āgneye mahāpurāṇe rājābhiṣeko nāma aṣṭādaśādhikadviśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ athonaviṃśādhikadviśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ abhiṣekamantrāḥ puṣkara uvāca rājadevādyabhiṣekamantrānvakṣye 'ghamardanān kumbhāt kuśodakaiḥ siñcettena sarvaṃ hi siddhyati

इस प्रकार अग्नि-महापुराण में ‘राजाभिषेक’ नामक 218वाँ अध्याय समाप्त हुआ। अब 219वाँ अध्याय ‘अभिषेक-मंत्र’ आरम्भ होता है। पुष्कर बोले—मैं राजा तथा देवताओं के अभिषेक के पाप-नाशक मंत्र कहूँगा। कुशा से पवित्र किए जल को कलश से छिड़के; उससे सब कार्य सिद्ध होते हैं।
