FAQs

It teaches padma-nyāsa (lotus-diagram placement): assigning Sarasvatī and related speech-powers (Vāgīśī, Hṛllekhā, Citravāgīśī) and Gāyatrī to specific positions (center/east etc.) as part of a Sarasvatī-focused pūjā/visualization.

Beyond myth, the Agni Purāṇa preserves practical ritual-technology—mapping deities and śaktis onto a geometric lotus (yantra/maṇḍala) with directional rules—showing its coverage of mantra, pūjā-vidhi, and tantric-style visualization alongside other sciences.

Placing/meditating on Sarasvatī and Gāyatrī in a structured nyāsa is intended to purify speech and intellect, stabilize learning and memory, and align the practitioner’s inner faculties (vāk and buddhi) with sacred mantra-power.
