Related Themes: Agni Purana 312 (Śrīvidyā/Tripurā-pūjā, nyāsa, dhyāna, abhichāra-prayoga context)
It supplies a dhyāna/mantra-identification set for Tripurā: specific bīja-syllables (aiṁ, kṣeṁ, hrīṁ) and visualization markers (pretāsana, padmāsana), used for tantric japa, nyāsa, and deity-meditation in Śākta worship.
Beyond mythic narration, it preserves practical sādhana-technology—seed-syllables, deity epithets, and iconographic meditation details—showing the Agni Purana’s coverage of ritual science (pūjā-vidhi) alongside other disciplines.
Meditating on Tripurā with the prescribed bījas and posture is presented as a means of śakti-upāsanā that concentrates mind and mantra, supporting purification, protection, and attainment of siddhi through disciplined worship.
