न हुङ्कुर्याच्छिवं पूज्यं पादं पादेन नाक्रमेत् प्रत्यक्षं वा परोक्षं वा कस्य चिन्नाप्रियं वदेत्
na huṅkuryācchivaṃ pūjyaṃ pādaṃ pādena nākramet pratyakṣaṃ vā parokṣaṃ vā kasya cinnāpriyaṃ vadet
पूज्य शिव के प्रति तिरस्कारसूचक “हुँ” न बोले; अपने पाँव से किसी के पाँव को न लाँघे; और किसी के प्रति अप्रिय वचन न कहे—सामने भी नहीं, पीठ पीछे भी नहीं।
