अर्काय शिरसे तद्वदग्नीशासुरवायुगान् भूर्भुवः स्वरे ज्वालिनि शिखा हुं कवचं स्मृतं
arkāya śirase tadvadagnīśāsuravāyugān bhūrbhuvaḥ svare jvālini śikhā huṃ kavacaṃ smṛtaṃ
शिर-न्यास में सूर्य का विन्यास करें; उसी प्रकार अग्नि, ईश, असुर और वायु का भी। ‘भूः’ और ‘भुवः’ के उच्चारण तथा स्वर सहित ‘ज्वालिनि, शिखा, हुं’ यह मंत्र कवच (रक्षा) के रूप में स्मरण किया गया है।
