पूर्वकर्मविपाकेन यां यां गतिमधोमुखीम् ॥ ऊर्ध्वां यां चापि पितरः पुत्रिणः पुत्रमीहते
pūrvakarmavipākena yāṁ yāṁ gatim adhomukhīm || ūrdhvāṁ yāṁ cāpi pitaraḥ putriṇaḥ putram īhate
પૂર્વકર્મના વિપાકથી જે જે અધોમુખ ગતિઓ પ્રાપ્ત થાય છે, અને જે ઊર્ધ્વ ગતિ પણ—જેને પિતૃઓ પુત્રવંત બની પુત્ર દ્વારા ઇચ્છે છે—તે સર્વ કર્મફળથી જ ઉત્પન્ન થાય છે.
