एवं कर्माणि कुर्वन्स ब्रह्मलोकजिगीषया॥ बहून्यब्दान्यतीतानि ब्राह्मणस्य वने तदा॥

evaṃ karmāṇi kurvans brahmaloka-jigīṣayā || bahūny abdāny atītāni brāhmaṇasya vane tadā

આ રીતે કર્મો કરતા અને બ્રહ્મલોક પ્રાપ્ત કરવાની ઇચ્છાથી, તે બ્રાહ્મણના વનમાં અનેક વર્ષો વીતી ગયા।
