The Glory of the Mathurā Sacred Landscape: Saṃyamana Tīrtha and the Twelve Sacred Forests

वृन्दावनं द्वादशकं वृन्दया परिरक्षितम् ॥ मम चैव प्रियं भूमे महापातकनाशनम् ॥

vṛndāvanaṃ dvādaśakaṃ vṛndayā parirakṣitam || mama caiva priyaṃ bhūme mahāpātakanāśanam ||

બારમું (વન) વૃન્દાવન છે, જે વૃન્દા દ્વારા પરિરક્ષિત છે. હે ભૂમે, તે મને પણ પ્રિય છે અને મહાપાતકોનો નાશ કરનારું કહેવાય છે.
