अथ ऋतूपस्करम् ॥ श्रीवराह उवाच ॥ फाल्गुनस्य तु मासस्य शुक्लपक्षस्य द्वादशीम् ॥ गृहीत्वा वासन्तिकान् पुष्पान् सुगन्धा ये क्रमागताः ॥

હવે ઋતુ માટેના ઉપસ્કર. શ્રીવરાહે કહ્યું—ફાલ્ગુન માસના શુક્લપક્ષની દ્વાદશીએ, ક્રમસર પ્રાપ્ત થયેલા વસંતના સુગંધિત પુષ્પો એકત્ર કરીને (વિધિ કરવી).
