तिलोदकीति विख्याता पुण्यतोया सदा नदी । संगमादन्यतो यस्यां तिलोदक्यां शुचिव्रतः । स्नातो विमुच्यते पापैः सप्तजन्मार्जितैरपि

Transliteration

tilodakīti vikhyātā puṇyatoyā sadā nadī | saṃgamādanyato yasyāṃ tilodakyāṃ śucivrataḥ | snāto vimucyate pāpaiḥ saptajanmārjitairapi

Translation

‘તિલોદકી’ તરીકે પ્રસિદ્ધ આ નદીનું જળ સદા પવિત્ર છે. તે તિલોદકીમાં—સંગમસ્થાન સિવાય અન્યત્ર—શુચિવ્રતી જન સ્નાન કરે તો સાત જન્મોના સંચિત પાપોથી પણ મુક્ત થાય છે.
