udyāpanavidhiścātra nṛbhirdvijapurassaram | agre caṃdrahareścandra sahasravratasaṃjñakaḥ

Translation

અહીં વ્રતના ઉદ્યાપનની વિધિ પણ જણાવાઈ છે; તે લોકો બ્રાહ્મણોને અગ્રસ્થાને રાખીને કરે. પ્રથમ ચંદ્રદેવની પ્રસન્નતા માટે ‘ચંદ્ર-સહસ્ર વ્રત’ નામે પ્રસિદ્ધ વ્રતવિધિ છે.
