उद्धव उवाच । मयो नाम महादैत्यो मायावी लोकविश्रुतः । कृतं तेन सरः शुभ्रं तस्य नाम्ना च विश्रुतम्
uddhava uvāca | mayo nāma mahādaityo māyāvī lokaviśrutaḥ | kṛtaṃ tena saraḥ śubhraṃ tasya nāmnā ca viśrutam
ઉદ્ધવે કહ્યું—મય નામનો એક મહાદૈત્ય હતો, માયાવી તરીકે લોકપ્રસિદ્ધ. તેણે જ આ શુભ્ર સરોવર બનાવ્યું, અને તે તેના નામથી જ વિખ્યાત છે.
