તે બોલ્યો—“જો તમે પ્રસન્ન હો, જો મને વર આપવો યોગ્ય હોય, તો હે કેશવ, આ ગર્ત/કૂવો મારા નામથી પ્રસિદ્ધ થાઓ.”
Nṛga (the king, recipient of Kṛṣṇa’s grace)
Tirtha: (Requested) a garta/kuṇḍa to be famed by the devotee’s name
Type: kund
Scene: The devotee petitions Kṛṣṇa: a humble figure gestures toward a stone-lined pit/well; Kṛṣṇa listens, compassionate, with the sea-city of Dvārakā in the background.
A devotee’s redeemed life becomes a cause for sacred remembrance; divine grace can transform even a site into a celebrated tīrtha.
Nṛga-kūpa (the well/pit) in the Dvārakā region.
No ritual is prescribed; the verse records the boon that establishes the tīrtha’s name and fame.
