ब्रह्मणो दक्षिणांगुष्ठाद्दक्षः प्राचेतसोऽभवत् । शतानि पञ्च कन्यानां तस्य जातानि च द्विजाः
brahmaṇo dakṣiṇāṃguṣṭhāddakṣaḥ prācetaso'bhavat | śatāni pañca kanyānāṃ tasya jātāni ca dvijāḥ
બ્રહ્માના જમણા અંગૂઠાથી પ્રાચેતસ દક્ષ ઉત્પન્ન થયો; અને હે દ્વિજોએ, તેને પાંચસો પુત્રીઓ જન્મી।
