Sūta (contextual continuation)
Tirtha: Devayajana
Type: kshetra
Listener: Śaunaka and the Naimiṣāraṇya sages (standard frame)
Scene: A consecrated yajña-vedī at a tīrtha named Devayajana; priests complete the rite by offering dakṣiṇā, while the atmosphere suggests extraordinary unseen merit.
Sacred geography amplifies dharma: when rites are performed correctly (with dakṣiṇā), a tīrtha can multiply merit beyond ordinary measure.
Devayajana—the named sacrificial holy place within the Chapter 75 kṣetra (Nāgara Khaṇḍa, Tīrthamāhātmya).
Perform a kratu (sacrifice) at Devayajana and ensure it includes proper dakṣiṇā; this is said to yield extraordinary fruit.
