yato'smābhiḥ śrutā vārtā kīrtyamānā purātanī | viṣṇunā tasya rājarṣeḥ pretaśrāddhasamudbhavā

અમે એક પ્રાચીન વાર્તા સાંભળી છે, જે આજેય કીર્તિત થાય છે—વિષ્ણુની આજ્ઞાથી તે રાજર્ષિના પ્રેત-શ્રાદ્ધનો પ્રસંગ ઉપજ્યો હતો.
