चन्द्र उवाच । परं क्षीणोऽस्मि देवेश यक्ष्मणाहं पदांतिकम् । प्राप्तस्तस्मात्परित्राहि नान्यत्संप्रार्थयाम्यहम्
candra uvāca | paraṃ kṣīṇo'smi deveśa yakṣmaṇāhaṃ padāṃtikam | prāptastasmātparitrāhi nānyatsaṃprārthayāmyaham
ચંદ્ર બોલ્યો—હે દેવેશ! હું અત્યંત ક્ષીણ થયો છું; યક્ષ્માએ મને અંતિમ કિનારે પહોંચાડ્યો છે. તેથી મને બચાવો; હું બીજું કશું માગતો નથી.
