પછી તે દિવસ-રાત અવિરત આરાધના કરતો રહ્યો; બલિ, પૂજા-ઉપહાર, દાન-પ્રસ્તુતિ તથા ગીત, વાદ્ય અને અન્ય ભક્તિ-આચરણોથી (શિવને) પ્રસન્ન કરતો રહ્યો।
