तच्छ्रुत्वा भर्तृयज्ञस्तु तानुवाच द्विजोत्तमान् । श्रूयतामभिधास्यामि यदेतत्कारणं स्थितम्
tacchrutvā bhartṛyajñastu tānuvāca dvijottamān | śrūyatāmabhidhāsyāmi yadetatkāraṇaṃ sthitam
આ સાંભળી ભર્તૃયજ્ઞે તે દ્વિજોત્તમોને કહ્યું— “સાંભળો; આ પ્રથાના પાછળ સ્થિર રહેલું કારણ હું સમજાવું છું.”
