kiṃ vratairniyamairvāpi strīṇāṃ brāhmaṇasattamāḥ | japairhomaiḥ kṛtairanyairbahukleśakaraiśca taiḥ

હે બ્રાહ્મણશ્રેષ્ઠો, સ્ત્રીઓને વ્રત-નિયમોની શું જરૂર છે? અને બહુ કષ્ટદાયક જપ, હોમ વગેરે અન્ય કર્મોની પણ શું આવશ્યકતા?
