ज्ञातमद्य चला लक्ष्मीस्तेन त्यक्तं सुदूरतः । तस्माद्बंधुजनैः सार्धं देवैर्विप्रैश्च कृत्स्नशः । संविभक्तां करिष्यामि सत्येनात्मानमालभे

jñātamadya calā lakṣmīstena tyaktaṃ sudūrataḥ | tasmādbaṃdhujanaiḥ sārdhaṃ devairvipraiśca kṛtsnaśaḥ | saṃvibhaktāṃ kariṣyāmi satyenātmānamālabhe

આજે મેં જાણી લીધું કે લક્ષ્મી ચંચળ છે; તેથી મેં તેને બહુ દૂર ત્યજી દીધી. તેથી હવે બંધુજનો સાથે, તેમજ દેવો અને બ્રાહ્મણો માટે પણ, સર્વ રીતે ભાગે ભાગે વહેંચી દાન કરીશ. સત્યની શપથ—આ સંકલ્પથી હું પોતાને બાંધું છું.
