yā tatra kurute snānaṃ tṛtīyādivase'balā | sutasaubhāgyasaṃpannā sā bhavetpativallabhā
Sūta (implied continuation)
Tirtha: Jayā-kṛta-kuṇḍa (near Gaurī-kuṇḍa)
Type: kund
Listener: Dvijāḥ / sages
Scene: At dawn on tṛtīyā, a woman pilgrim bathes in the kuṇḍa while holding a flower offering; nearby stands a small Gaurī shrine with lamps; symbolic motifs of children and prosperity (cradle, grains, bangles) appear subtly, indicating putra-saubhāgya and marital affection.
Purāṇic dharma integrates household well-being with sacred observance, presenting tīrtha-snana as a support for righteous family life.
The kuṇḍa made by Jayā near Gaurī-kuṇḍa in Śrīhāṭakeśvara-kṣetra.
Bathing (snāna) on tithis such as Tṛtīyā is highlighted for specific blessings.
