tato duḥkhasamāyuktā devamātātra saṃsthitā | tapaścakre divānaktaṃ śivadhyānaparāyaṇā
Sūta
Tirtha: Amareśvara (contextual)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Ṛṣayaḥ
Scene: Aditi, the deva-mātā, seated in austere posture near a Śiva-liṅga or beneath a bilva tree, eyes half-closed in meditation; day transitions to night with moon and stars, yet her posture remains unwavering; a soft Śiva-aura surrounds her.
In crisis, sustained tapas and Śiva-dhyāna transform grief into divine support and dharmic strength.
The place where Aditi undertakes tapas—contextually the Amareśvara area within this chapter’s tīrthamāhātmya.
Tapas with continuous Śiva-dhyāna (day and night) is highlighted as the spiritual method.
