अप्रियं तेजसा हीनं मृतमस्पृश्यतां गतम् । लिंगस्य नातिदूरस्थं दाह्यार्थं यत्नमास्थिताः

Transliteration

apriyaṃ tejasā hīnaṃ mṛtamaspṛśyatāṃ gatam | liṃgasya nātidūrasthaṃ dāhyārthaṃ yatnamāsthitāḥ

Translation

અપ્રિય, તેજહીન, મૃત અને અસ್ಪૃશ્ય ગણાયેલું તે શવ જોઈને, લિંગથી બહુ દૂર નહીં એવા સ્થાને દાહ માટે તેમણે પ્રયત્ન હાથ ધર્યો।
