श्रद्धया परया पार्थ द्विजेभ्यः संप्रयच्छति । शतकोटिगुणं पुण्यं कोटितीर्थप्रभावतः । कोटितीर्थे प्रतिश्रुत्य द्विजेभ्यो न प्रयच्छति
śraddhayā parayā pārtha dvijebhyaḥ saṃprayacchati | śatakoṭiguṇaṃ puṇyaṃ koṭitīrthaprabhāvataḥ | koṭitīrthe pratiśrutya dvijebhyo na prayacchati
હે પાર્થ, જે અહીં પરમ શ્રદ્ધાથી બ્રાહ્મણોને દાન આપે છે, તે કોટિતીર્થના પ્રભાવથી શત-કોટે ગુણ પુણ્ય મેળવે છે। પરંતુ કોટિતીર્થમાં પ્રતિજ્ઞા કરીને પણ જે બ્રાહ્મણોને ન આપે, તે મહાપાપનો ભાગી બને છે।
