अंधे तमसि किं दृश्यो गंधान्मोहं दृढं लभेत् । शीते मात्रा जले पीते शीतमुष्णं तथोष्णके
aṃdhe tamasi kiṃ dṛśyo gaṃdhānmohaṃ dṛḍhaṃ labhet | śīte mātrā jale pīte śītamuṣṇaṃ tathoṣṇake
ઘોર અંધકારમાં તે શું જોઈ શકે? ગંધોથી તે દૃઢ મોહમાં પડી જાય છે. માતા ઠંડું પાણી પીવે તો તેને ઠંડક લાગે; તેમ જ માતા ગરમ વસ્તુ લે તો ગર્ભસ્થને પણ ગરમી અનુભવાય છે.
