ब्रह्मणस्त्वं सुता देवी तुलानाम्नेति कथ्यते । तुकारो गौरवे नित्यं लकारो लघुनि स्मृतः
brahmaṇastvaṃ sutā devī tulānāmneti kathyate | tukāro gaurave nityaṃ lakāro laghuni smṛtaḥ
‘હે દેવી, તું બ્રહ્માની પુત્રી છે; તને “તુલા” નામે કહેવામાં આવે છે. “તુ” અક્ષર સદા ગુરુત્વ (ભાર) દર્શાવે છે અને “લા” અક્ષર લઘુત્વ તરીકે સ્મરાય છે.’
