ह्रियतेर्द्धं हि तत्रापि यच्छेषं तद्धि जीवितम् । जीवितांतेच मरणं महाघोरमवाप्नुयात्
hriyaterddhaṃ hi tatrāpi yaccheṣaṃ taddhi jīvitam | jīvitāṃteca maraṇaṃ mahāghoramavāpnuyāt
ત્યાં પણ થોડો અંશ હરી લેવાય છે; જે બાકી રહે તે જ ખરેખર ‘જીવન’ છે. અને જીવનના અંતે અતિ ઘોર મૃત્યુનો સામનો કરવો પડે છે.
