परमायुः स्थिता षष्टिस्तदप्यस्ति न निष्ठितम् । तस्य यावद्भवेदायुर्देहिनः पूर्वकर्म भिः

Transliteration

paramāyuḥ sthitā ṣaṣṭistadapyasti na niṣṭhitam | tasya yāvadbhavedāyurdehinaḥ pūrvakarma bhiḥ

Translation

પરમ આયુષ્ય સાઠ વર્ષ કહેવાય છે; છતાં તે પણ નિશ્ચિત નથી. દેહધારીનું આયુષ્ય પૂર્વકર્મ મુજબ જેટલું નિર્ધારિત હોય તેટલું જ ટકે છે.
