आविकं परिदध्याच्च ततो वासः सितं च वा । धातुरक्तमथो नव्यं मलिनं संधितं न च
āvikaṃ paridadhyācca tato vāsaḥ sitaṃ ca vā | dhāturaktamatho navyaṃ malinaṃ saṃdhitaṃ na ca
ઊનનું વસ્ત્ર ધારણ કરીને પછી શ્વેત વસ્ત્ર પહેરવું. ધાતુરક્ત (ગેરુ/લાલ) રંગેલું વસ્ત્ર પણ ચાલે; પરંતુ તે નવું હોય, મેલું ન હોય અને સીલેલું-જોડેલું ન હોય.
