कन्यानां वरयोग्यानामदानं सदृशे वरे । पुत्रमित्रकलत्रेषु गमनं भगिनीषु च
kanyānāṃ varayogyānāmadānaṃ sadṛśe vare | putramitrakalatreṣu gamanaṃ bhaginīṣu ca
વિવાહયોગ્ય કન્યાને યોગ્ય વરને ન આપવી પાપ છે; તેમજ પુત્રવધૂ, મિત્રની પત્ની અને પોતાની બહેન સાથે ગમન કરવું પણ ઘોર દોષ ગણાયું છે.
