सत्यं वाच्यं नित्यमैत्रेण भाव्यं कार्यं त्याज्यं नित्यमायासकारि । लोकेऽमुष्मिन्यद्दिनं स्यात्तथास्मिन्नात्मा योगे येजनीयो गभीरैः
satyaṃ vācyaṃ nityamaitreṇa bhāvyaṃ kāryaṃ tyājyaṃ nityamāyāsakāri | loke'muṣminyaddinaṃ syāttathāsminnātmā yoge yejanīyo gabhīraiḥ
હંમેશા સત્ય બોલવું, નિત્ય મૈત્રીભાવ રાખવો; જે કર્મ સતત થાક અને ઉદ્વેગ લાવે તે ત્યજી દેવું. આ લોકમાં દિવસ જેમ પસાર થાય તેમ પરલોકનું સ્વરૂપ બને; તેથી વિદ્વાનોને ગાઢ યોગ દ્વારા આત્માનું પૂજન કરવું જોઈએ.
