पात्रेभ्यो दीयते नित्यमनपेक्ष्य प्रयोजनम् । केवलं धर्मबुद्ध्या यद्धर्मदानं तदुच्यते
pātrebhyo dīyate nityamanapekṣya prayojanam | kevalaṃ dharmabuddhyā yaddharmadānaṃ taducyate
યોગ્ય પાત્રોને નિત્ય, કોઈ વ્યક્તિગત પ્રયોજનની અપેક્ષા વિના, માત્ર ધર્મબુદ્ધિથી આપવામાં આવતું દાન ‘ધર્મદાન’ કહેવાય છે।
