नारद उवाच । श्रुत्वैतं संस्तवं दैत्यः संघुष्टं देवबंदिभिः । सस्मार ब्रह्मणो वाक्यं वधं बालादुपस्थितम्
nārada uvāca | śrutvaitaṃ saṃstavaṃ daityaḥ saṃghuṣṭaṃ devabaṃdibhiḥ | sasmāra brahmaṇo vākyaṃ vadhaṃ bālādupasthitam
નારદે કહ્યું—દેવવંદીઓએ ઊંચા ઘોષથી ગાયેલો આ સ્તવ સાંભળીને તે દૈત્યને બ્રહ્માનું વચન યાદ આવ્યું કે દિવ્ય બાલકના હાથે તેનો વધ હવે નજીક આવી ગયો છે।
