शापितोऽसि मया प्राणैर्यथा वच्मि तथा कुरु । अहं सदा करिष्यामि दर्शे चोद्दिश्यते पितॄन्
śāpito'si mayā prāṇairyathā vacmi tathā kuru | ahaṃ sadā kariṣyāmi darśe coddiśyate pitṝn
મારા પ્રાણોની શપથથી તું બંધાયેલો છે—હું જેમ કહું તેમ જ કર. હું હંમેશા આ કર્મ કરીશ; અમાવાસ્યાએ પિતૃઓને ઉદ્દેશીને તર્પણ કરવાનું વિધાન છે.
