कृत्वैतन्नश्यते कीर्तिर्यावदाचंद्रतारकम् । एवं संचिंत्य बहुधा गत्वा चैव वनांतरम्

Transliteration

kṛtvaitannaśyate kīrtiryāvadācaṃdratārakam | evaṃ saṃciṃtya bahudhā gatvā caiva vanāṃtaram

Translation

“જો હું આ કરું તો ચંદ્ર-તારાઓ જેટલો સમય ટકવાની મારી શુભકીર્તિ નષ્ટ થઈ જશે.” એમ વારંવાર વિચારી તે વનના ગહન અંતરમાં ગયો.
