स्थंडिलस्था च हेमंते निराहारा तताप सा । एतस्मिन्नंतरे दैत्यो ह्यंधकस्य सुतो बली
sthaṃḍilasthā ca hemaṃte nirāhārā tatāpa sā | etasminnaṃtare daityo hyaṃdhakasya suto balī
હેમંત ઋતુમાં તે નિર્વસ્ત્ર ભૂમિ પર બેસી, નિરાહાર તપ કરતી રહી. એ વચ્ચે અંધકનો પુત્ર, બળવાન દૈત્ય ત્યાં આવી પહોંચ્યો.
