कूर्म उवाच । चिरंतनो हि जानामि कर्त्तुमातिथ्यसत्क्रियाम् । अभ्यागतेष्वपचितिं धर्मशास्त्रेषु निश्चितम्
kūrma uvāca | ciraṃtano hi jānāmi karttumātithyasatkriyām | abhyāgateṣvapacitiṃ dharmaśāstreṣu niścitam
કૂર્મ બોલ્યો— “હું પ્રાચીન છું અને મહેમાનનું યોગ્ય સન્માન કેવી રીતે કરવું તે મને સારી રીતે ખબર છે. મહેમાનરૂપે આવેલા પ્રત્યે આદરભાવ ધર્મશાસ્ત્રોમાં દૃઢ રીતે નિશ્ચિત છે.”
