व्यास उवाच । शृणु सूत महाबुद्धे यथा स्कंदेन भाषितम् । भविष्यं मम तस्याग्रे कुंभयोने महामते
vyāsa uvāca | śṛṇu sūta mahābuddhe yathā skaṃdena bhāṣitam | bhaviṣyaṃ mama tasyāgre kuṃbhayone mahāmate
વ્યાસે કહ્યું—હે મહાબુદ્ધિ સૂત, સ્કંદે જેમ કહ્યું તેમ સાંભળ. અને તે મહામતિ કુંભયોની (અગસ્ત્ય) સમક્ષ મારા વિષે જે ભવિષ્ય કહેવાયું, તે પણ સાંભળ.
