स्कंद उवाच । सर्वज्ञस्य कुमारत्वात्किंचित्किंचिदवैम्यहम् । रोदने कारणं वच्मि शृणु कुंभसमुद्भव
skaṃda uvāca | sarvajñasya kumāratvātkiṃcitkiṃcidavaimyaham | rodane kāraṇaṃ vacmi śṛṇu kuṃbhasamudbhava
સ્કંદે કહ્યું— સર્વજ્ઞ પરમેશ્વરે બાળરૂપ ધારણ કર્યાથી હું થોડું થોડું જ જાણું છું. છતાં તે રોદનનું કારણ કહું છું; હે કુંભસમુદ્ભવ, સાંભળો.
