इति पत्नीवचः श्रुत्वा तथा स कृतवान्खगः । सपीडितो दृढं पादे श्येनश्चीत्कृतवान्बहु
iti patnīvacaḥ śrutvā tathā sa kṛtavānkhagaḥ | sapīḍito dṛḍhaṃ pāde śyenaścītkṛtavānbahu
પત્નીના વચન સાંભળી તે પક્ષીએ તેમ જ કર્યું. પગમાં ઘોર પીડાથી પીડિત શ્યેન વારંવાર ઊંચે સ્વરે ચીત્કાર કરવા લાગ્યો.
