मनोरथोपदेष्टा च कुत्रचित्क्वापि नेक्षितः । कदाचिद्दैवयोगात्स दमनो नाम तापसः
manorathopadeṣṭā ca kutracitkvāpi nekṣitaḥ | kadāciddaivayogātsa damano nāma tāpasaḥ
હૃદયના પરમ લક્ષ્યનો ઉપદેશ આપનાર માર્ગદર્શક તેને ક્યાંય મળ્યો નહિ; પરંતુ એક વખત દૈવયોગે ‘દમન’ નામનો તપસ્વી મળ્યો.
