tasyāḥ priyāyā vākyena tadapatyapriyo giriḥ | uvāca vacanaṃ sāsramumā vātsalyasannagīḥ

પ્રિયાના વચનોથી દ્રવિત થઈ, સંતાનપ્રિય ગિરિરાજે ઉમા પ્રત્યેના વાત્સલ્યથી ગળો ભરાઈ, આંસુભરી વાણીમાં વચન કહ્યું.
